Issue is quantity vs quality. There's really good American TV. But it's all about money and turnover whereas other countries don't have the resources for the quantity so they focus more on what they have.

I love British tv too! They have some amazing actors of all ages. I’m not a prude or anything, but British shows dont seem to have a lot of unnecessary swearing. It’s just good entertainment.

Coming from a real teacher, sometimes this stuff really happens. It's not an amazing feeling but the duty of care comes first and I do often put myself in harm's way to protect a student.

@@-Jjuuliieenn- Well, hitting a teacher or worse is an automatic suspension, depending on what they do, it could be an automatic expulsion and if it is an adult, they can be prosecuted, so in violent circumstances, I often go and stand in the middle of it. It's not good for me but it's good for those I am protecting. I won't lie, my colleagues don't respond like me, I am not standing up for those teachers who ignored you, I am ashamed of them. I know my response is mad and that I am risking injury but better me injured than a student injured. It's very difficult to catch when it's just happening at home, we've spotted signs and no-one's raising the alarm because we have no legal foundation to intervene.

I really hope that Schuey gets help and has a great character development like Danny had and actually gets a happy ending unlike Danny,because this here is the type of character that they either have become the bad guy or end up dying and for once I want them to get a decent life and happiness that isn’t temporary, Plus Schuey is such a great character with a lot of potential and he’s a great actor.

I feel like Donte is being setup to be the reboot’s Tom Clarkson. So many similarities. Both experience death of a partner and struggling to contain anger as a result (his behaviour after Chlo’s death was VERY similar to Tom’s behaviour after Izzie Redpath’s death), ends up being basically a stepdad for others kids (Nicky). His personality is also very similar to Tom. Not to mention he’s always the one to break up fights, like Tom Clarkson was… I guess this is not a surprise as well since he lived with Tom for much of his first stint…

Any person who hits their own children in any way, shape, or form is a bad parent. I don’t care what you’re trying to teach them or if you use it as a “last resort”. I don’t care. It’s bad parenting and you’re setting your kid up for failure. They’ll grow up angry, stressed, scared of the world. Nobody wants that, and that why I’m never hitting my future kids. Ever.

Danny because of how she met him in the start of season 11 and how she regrets some of the choices she made regarding him and how in the end he died saving someone who put him and other in danger and didn’t really deserve it, so now he’s gone as he was just getting back on the right path and it too late for him but it’s not too late for Schuey
