I've headed up my elementary school talent show for two years. Can confirm. We had two comedians...this is how it sounded. One girl singing and dancing who was all over the stage in rehearsal, who froze during the performance and stood completely still while singing. Also had the piano prodigy in both shows...we actually didn't let him do the most recent show bc he blew off all the rehearsals. We haven't put a magic act through auditions yet, bc close up magic doesn't work on a cafeteria stage with no cameras. I haven't seen a Cups act yet...however I was in Spamalot in 2014 and we had to learn that routine for Knights of the Round Table. I guess none of us were that good at tap dancing, so choreographer went with that.
