those extras are pretty sweet indeed. oh well, i found out about this too late. i was able to get the standard version for regular japanese price so i finally have a flyer to go with my old original release 30cm hedorah. ive had that hedorah for a decade now.

I love GvH! One of my favorite top 3 kaiju movies. Hedorah is just too awesome. I'm visiting Japan in 2024 and will be looking for the best Gorija and Hedorah figures available including the 50th anniversary one

That's awesome! Congratulations on going to Japan. I've never been but it's on the bucket list. There are a TON of figures from that film to choose from. (Xplus Large Monster Series 25cm scale figures being the most realistic in my opinion!)

Thank for the feedback. There are a lot of great candidates for Xplus to choose from for the Favorite Sculptors Line. Just about anything done my MM28 from the Showa period has my vote.

@@MedicineBag Yes. That's being worked on right now. It will be the next video. When I first started collecting Xplus their light up extras were very underwhelming and often seemed to "burn out" easily. So I stayed away from them for quite sometime. I think after I saw the light up for Godzilla 1984 I haven't questioned that they have absolutely stepped up their light up game. And the Ghidorah flickering lights in the neck seemed like the right choice.

I'm going to stick with Eggs made of concentrated Hedoruim; the mineral the scientist discovered inside the Hedorah tadpole that had a strong reaction to the electro-microwaves that led to it's ultimate destruction. If they were Hedorah's eyes it wouldn't have still had them after it shed it's dried out husk and try to flee in it's smaller flying form at the end of the film. 🙂
