GREAT . let me ask some questions if you don't mind. 1. why you did not assign the soil pressure to the pile cap mat slab for checking soil pressure. 2. how you will check or design the pile reinforcement. 3. the pile design will be done in which software as it has soil at the pile tip as well horizontally. 4. For real projects which combinations are used like gravity or lateral to design the pile. we can also design the pile in etabs as well. hope for a positive response thank u.

For pile spacing less than 3 times of pile diameter, SAFE provide the punching shear wrong as it get the shear force value is not correct, I have run check with RCM...could you explain?

As safe follow FEM method not strip base methods for analysis. i have no idea about RCM sir.

Thanks for the reply, I have run SAFE to check the pile cap with 4 pile diameter 1m, I found the stub column is defined as the corner column then the shear force to calculate the punching shear is not correct too, how to change the column to be the stub column? or do you have reference file with 4pile in one pile cap? @@qlearnify-en

I also have one question related to offset of outer beams in plan for example if we have col 450x450 and beam is 300x450 ,so in general in etabs when we do modeling it will start from center of column to center of beam joint Can we use insertion for that or else there is any other practice for that....
