Miss these voices having transplanted to New England 16 years ago. Bills are on the right track. The organization has built and sustained success. Championship caliber comes with time. In my opinion, they need to make some choices with some key positions. The O-Line is solid and Offense is very good. Cooper did not prove that he is the fit they need. They need a real game changer at TE. Defense is the largest opportunity. The secondary is good, Milano is really good, but injury prone, they should move him while they can. They need more aggression on the D-Line. The V- Miller contract was really the stinker in Salary cap over the last 3 seasons. He was an impulse buy that should have never happened. Of all the reasons they lost on Sunday, McDermott is one of the least. 13 second game was totally different and pretty much ALL on him. The defense cost this team the win on Sunday. The Chiefs scored their highest points of the season against this team in the playoffs, AGAIN. Mahomes had the best drop back success rate of his entire fucking CAREER. The Bills hit right at their season average, like they have all year. The Chiefs averaged 23 points this year and scored 32. That's defense. That's lack of talent on a defense, that's poor scheme. All of the above. That is the difference and it's been the same thing 3 times in a row now. It's that simple. This team isn't going to win until it builds a defense that can go out and win the ballgame for them in crunchtime moments. It's just not gonna happen. At some point, you're just asking too much of a QB who has 1 offensive pro bowler on his team and no defensive pro bowlers, going against arguably the greatest QB of all time, the greatest head coach of all time and the greatest defensive coordinator of all time. As a collective, I don't think there's ever been a better team. 5 SBs in 7 years. 3 in a row. Absolutely insane. Allen bares SOME blame in this game, which he's accepted, but he's the least of my concerns. Fix the fucking defense. MAKE A SPLASH IN THE OFFSEASON. SHOW SOME URGENCY. This team has drafted SEVERAL early round BUSTS and made horrible free agent signings and it's held this team back in a big way. The front office HAS to be better and they have to move their ass. The bills have to stop expecting that someone is just gonna hand it to them and all they have to do is run it back the same way and expect things to go differently. That's not how this works. I mean I guess you can hope Mahomes has a down year and gets knocked off by another team or somehow misses the playoffs and you can avoid them, but the odds of that happening are slim. If you want to beat the Chiefs, you have to go DO IT. And you have to put up the best possible team in order to do it. The Bills have not done that. Period. Learn from the damn blueprint. Brady beat Mahomes because he had a defense that held him to 9 points. They sacked him all game. Hit him. Pressured him. The Chiefs were at their best offensively that year and the Bucs beat em with defense. You need game wreckers on this defense. You need dogs. You need a Chris Jones. You need a McDuffie, sure as shit not an Elam. Go make something happen. Go GET AFTER IT.

McDermott is a D minded coach... the Front office has spent a lot of draft capital and cash on the Defensive side and the team has gotten worse on that side of the ball.... The drafting and the free agency have been bad the last few years!!!! The D rating has been getting worse every year!!! However, they gave the offense a couple of chances in that game and the offense could not come up to scrutiny!!! The roster has gotten worse... very little amount of impact players!!! He put up 29 (essentially what the team averaged all season) which was just about the amount of points they put up against KC in a 2 score win earlier in the season. KC scored their most points of the season on Sunday. How is that on Allen? Saying Josh should've been better suggests that he was not good enough to win this game. He was plenty good enough. The defense and more concerningly the HC let him and the team down. It's not a 1 time thing. It happens every postseason against KC. And you can't tell me that it's strictly because of Andy Reid and how good he is because he's lost in the postseason with Mahomes as his QB to Bruce Arians and Zac Taylor. I've been saying since the "13 seconds" game that McDermott needs to be fired and that feeling has only gotten stronger. It's not because I don't like McD. I actually love him and think he was the absolute best person for the job when he was hired which was proven true when he immediately ended the drought and created a culture that people wanted to be a part of. But he's not going to get the organization to the "mountain top" and he's directly responsible for Josh not having had at least 2 additional chances at an AFC championship and 3 shots at a Super Bowl.

It isn't about the stats, defense and the scores etc. The defense put Josh in the position to win the game on the last drive. That is their job no matter the score. It is about the ability to successfully put together that last drive with 3 minutes left for at least a field goal to tie. Game in his hands and massive pressure on Josh ran 6 plays for 16 yards. One first down and a Hail Mary. That just doesn't cut it. I like Josh a lot but he is just not mature enough. Most great QB's can't do that in their 20's. Mahomes is an anomaly or freak of nature to be so good while so young. Josh would have smoked any other team including Philadelphia.

Why is it that Brady and Mahomes are throwing crossing routes to wide open receivers 4 yards down the field but Josh has less than zero seconds to get rid of the ball in the most critical of spots??? BECAUSE IT’S COACHING THAT’S WHY. Brady and Mahomes had/have coaches that make sure they’re making low stress throws to accomplish what needs to be accomplished. THEN, those coaches are making sure the opposing QB has a mess to deal with in the same situation. Not Buffalo. McD does nothing to help Allen have something schemed up to accomplish what needs to be accomplished while also allowing the opposition to go right down the field on him by playing some bullcrap prevent defense which allows the other team get whatever it is they need.

How many times do we have to hear it gives us something to work on and aspire to. Give me a break. McDermot will never take them over the top. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Western NY deserves better and it starts with getting rid or McDermot. How many other QB's in the league could have made that pass at the end of the game under that much pressure with such accuracy and he never panicked. 0 that's how many, other than Alan. He deserves better and bottom line it starts with the coaching staff. That's the bottom line!

Josh Allen is doing what he loves doing. And what he's very good at doing. And making lots of money in the process. How many people can honestly say that? It's very difficult to win a Superbowl in the NFL. Josh has said that over and over again. 31 teams lose every year. It will be even more difficult next season. I think the window was there this year. Especially after that Baltimore game, which the Bills were very fortunate to win on 3 turnovers. Very fortunate. Because Baltimore had come to play and did play. Baltimore has an outstanding football team. They will be outstanding next season too.

People acting like the Bills haven’t done jack shit since Josh Allen has been there. What do we have like 7 consecutive playoff appearances, 5 or 6 AFC East Championships? Turns out it’s not so easy for a team to go to to the Superbowl. How many times did Andy Reid come up short before KC? How many times did Peyton Manning fail? I have enjoyed watching the Bills the past seven seasons or so. Sure the high stake losses are painful. But we had a chance. Hopefully more to come. That’s life. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Always a nice thought experiment. The biggest issue is that Mahomes is the Micheal Jordan of the AFC. Said this about 6 years ago. You have to hope someone, somehow beats KC and the Bills slip into the SB. It never happened with MJ and so many great NBA players never won a title. The combination of Reid, Spags and Mahomes is formidable. The Bills are not going to fire McBean. The Bills have to stay close, try to keep improving and hope for a break.

What I want to understand is why the Bills kept running QB sneak on 4th down/3rd down after the chiefs stopped it so many times. Please don't give me the cop-out answer "It was their best play all year" - yes, I'm well aware of the numbers. But you have to be able to adapt in big games. When the chiefs are stacking 11 players on the line, maybe you should have a backup play, or fake the sneak or have some creativity. Joe brady's offense appears very vanilla with nothing special in his back pocket in critical situations.

People have short memories , think back on the dumpster fire we had as head coaches and GM . Bean and McDermott are not perfect but they have this team in the elite group year in and year out .As far as wasting ALLENS career , it’s insane. With a roster that most experts picked to finish third in the division , McDermott and ALLEN took them within a drop pass and couple bad call from the refs , in going to the super-bowl . I think BEAN with some cap room will address the needs and will have this team in contention for a superbowl once again .

If you’re being honest, Allen blew a couple of important reads over the course of the game. The most obvious of which was that final 4th down. Four receivers on his Left with only 3 DB on them and a safety cheating right. On his right was one receiver with a DB on him so why is the safety cheating right. If he is as wonderful as the media thinks, he should have seen the linebacker on the left had to drop out to cover the spare receiver on his left, meaning the pressure was coming from his favorite roll out zone on his right, even if he didn’t realize the DB was coming on a blitz. I mean why would the safety be cheating right in that formation. It’s all there on film.

We need a lot of help on Defense. Our secondary has been exposed badly. Yes there have been injuries, but guys coming in need to step up way better than this. Also need a dominant pass rusher who is consistent. And another thing, why not hire a Defensive coordinator with some experience and a proven track record? Josh Allen starts the game throwing two should-be interceptions. Fumbles the ball like 3 times. Oh and he can't sneak for a few feet on multiple attempts. Has the ball with plenty of time to go win the game and chokes, can't even get a first down. And it's the BILLS that's the issue??

He was definitely shaky to start, but who could blame him for being nervous? He settled down and played what I would say is his average game. Had he played at higher than average level we win this game, even though the defense had major struggles.

Two things I noticed..why the hell did the Bills call the playcall they did on 4th & 5 when KC was obviously lined up to blitz. No audible to change to short crosses and why was Knox not in on the tush push..Kincaid is not a pass blocker and is the weaker of the two.

Bill’s fans think Josh can just do it next year. That’s what they said about Bo Jackson. Too many things can go wrong in an NFL season. They’ve done so little to get him Weapons. Dawson Knox is 1 catch for 7 yards a game. Teams know Coleman is slow and can’t separate. Brandon Beane lucked into Josh Allen, like a blind squirrel.

Miss these voices having transplanted to New England 16 years ago. Bills are on the right track. The organization has built and sustained success. Championship caliber comes with time. In my opinion, they need to make some choices with some key positions. The O-Line is solid and Offense is very good. Cooper did not prove that he is the fit they need. They need a real game changer at TE. Defense is the largest opportunity. The secondary is good, Milano is really good, but injury prone, they should move him while they can. They need more aggression on the D-Line. The V- Miller contract was really the stinker in Salary cap over the last 3 seasons. He was an impulse buy that should have never happened. I have confidence they will be better next season. Cheers Buffalo!
