Ok So for people who ask"when will this come out" I highly doubt it will ever. The Dev stated once that he is worried about the mod getting taking down. Considering it happened to many other MH mods,. Now nowadays it "could" Be less risky since Wildcard don't care about Ase anymore. In the end tho it is up to the Mod dev if he ever wants to make it public or not

@Arkraktor hi, I appreciate the comment, but I can say with confidence it will come out at some point. I'll say why here! How long until it gets taken down I don't know, as there is someone who we've narrowed down is issuing DMCA reports on already existing mods claiming assets are their own. However, the last mod by Diego_Mendez was up for a whole 2 years w/o any issue, as there were no direct copyright law infringements, as stated by the community manager a few years back, Capcom as far as they know has no issues with anything related to using assets as long as the music isn't involved. So the reason I'm even uploading again/working on the mod is because the possibility of a full release looks more promising than ever before, based on what I've seen. Even if it may be short-lived, I absolutely will get the mod out, but I do not intend to skip out on having someone's favorite monster before it would get taken down. That's about it.

Well, we already got a Colab with Power Rangers, then what prevent them, in the future, to do a Colab with MH or other Monsters franchises.

My dream has finally come true, an actual high quality MH mod. Btw, don't be discouraged by any panic talk about WC taking out MH mods. Given that they have completely abandoned ASE, the chance of your mod being taken down is very small. Hell, even if it was taken down, you could reupload it as a private mod so people would only need a direct link. You are doing awsome work man. I wish you all the best!

Hi! Now there are at least 4 mods in the workshop that exist. One of them has been hanging since 2023. Usually the authors write that all models belong to the company. Well, if no one is watching the vanilla Arch, then no one will delete it. It would be great if they could be repainted to suit your taste :)

I’m literally going to reinstall ark for this mod when it drops- Also not to be annoying do you have any tips or tutorials for modding? I want to get into it but I have no idea about anything beyond Garuga’s old tutorials atm. I adore the way you’ve done these creatures so much it brings them so much justice!!!!

Don't worry I'm glad you asked! You can mostly follow his tutorial 1 to 1 and it will cover most of the process, but for more advanced stuff graphing will be involved. But in reference to this video, I can say some of the things I used to make it, and how to find/make them. If you're ever curious on how to implement a function a dino has too, it's good to go through the different character_BPs and check out the graph section, a lot of code that you would normally have to develop on your own can be found in there. You can also go through the character_BP in general, and flick random settings to get familiarized on what they do, and test it by spawning it in the preview. Most particles in the devkit will generally start with "p_" and can be found in the base folder the devkit opens to. These can be opened, and changed based on their different parameters. Some have something called a "cylinder" which is, you guessed it, is a cylinder, and that dictates where given particles will spawn inside the bounds of. For the fire in this video, when it hits the ground, it originally had axis in every direction, so the fire would shoot out on all sides of the cylinder in a circle. What I did was I made it so it only could come out of a 4th of all the directional axis, and then changed the size of the flame particles and velocity, so it looks like how it does now. If you're curious you can check out my older Escaton Judgement video, the fire particles in this video and in that video were made from the same particle file. Long winded explanation for that one, sorry if that's not really coherent 😂 Next thing is for animations on dinos, I always use turning animations, so when a dino turns left or right, their tail and maybe upper body will curve left or right, or when flying they will bank left to right. This helps it feel less static, and makes it a bit more realistic with how the dino would distribute its weight while turning. If you need an animation software, blender is free and has basically everything you could ever want for getting into animation stuff. For turning animations specifically, check out guides on how to use animation graphs inside of blender, they make it much easier. Last thing that's not too complicated, is you can open any dino character_BP, and then using the search magnifying glass icon thing, find the file location of any assets the character is using. I always do that if there is something a specific dino has, say a particle, and I'm having trouble locating it in the main game file. You also familiarize yourself with how different stuff plugs in to the character itself. This process also applies to tools, weapons, consumables, trophies, etc. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask, the devkit is not very intuitive on first glance, and some stuff they very much overcomplicated and named weird. Other than that just be patient with the process, it always feels rewarding in the end to see the end result of the hard work you put in.

⁠@@MettmanSorry- Last question for awhile I promise!! I’ve just not seen anything literally anywhere about it but do you have any idea how some mods are able to be crossplatform between ASA and ASE?

@@LeviAckerman-cl6iy If you mean crossplatform between consoles that's an ASA exclusive thing for sponsored mods that make Wildcard a profit, but if you mean in the sense that they are on ASE as well as ASA, both versions of the Ark devkit use Unreal Engine, just different versions, so most of the functions and phrasing should be similar. I myself am only familiar with UE4 so I don't know how correct that statement is. From what I've heard though moving a mod over to ASA isn't as simple as just opening an existing project in a different version of Unreal Engine, you essentially would have to make everything from the ground up. So if the modders doing stuff for ASE wanted to do something also for ASA, the reason it's on both platforms is because they're putting in twice as much as the effort that someone who just does modding for one game is

the effects way to much if multiple people do this on a server it will crash the server just like with old bronto berry farming, absolutely amazing looking tho and the movement on the model is the cleanest i have ever seen.
