i happen to stumble upon your page . Your arrangement of this piece is just so imaginative. I only heard the piano arrangement performed by Dannil Trinifov (sp) . I like your arrangement of Schubert's piece. Man, I am curious to how you would play Vivaldi's Violin Concerto RV-389 in B-minor!!!

I have been on an Ernst Erlkönig binge, trying to scrounge up every recording I can find on the depths of KZbin to compare approaches. Sometimes I find unique ones that dare to be different. This is such a lively variety of interesting colors (and tempi...). Very coarse as well, but intentionally and artistically. An interpretation absolutely fraught with tension. Interesting approach to primarily do it détaché. Good and well-informed call on how to perform the Erlking's final lines, rejecting all the near-ubiquitous wrong approaches. I didn't like the final chords, they felt clipped and thrown away.

Same here, I've been digging deep into the internet to find the vast variety of performances. I am somewhat addicted to this piece. Also I love the way you gave your opinion about it instead of "performance X is better"
