Henk Griffioen This performance of Schubert's Rosamunde Entr. act no. 3 is by far the most beautiful I've heard played and it touches me the most. Why so beautiful. The melody and orchestration is undoubtedly beautiful. Because it is played at a slightly slower tempo than usual, the feeling is stronger. Celibidache was known for playing adagios a little slower. A clever way to enhance the beauty of a composition. In addition, the transitions in the melody are beautifully timed in tone and tonal strength. For me personally, this is a performance that gives me a high experience of beauty.
