Thank you but I’m pretty sure the last car was the second version of the Pre-War 1050 that was made with bottom from newly designed Zone car?

Thanks for the note. I've always heard that the pre-War 1050's had an extra slot for a gear and that post-WWII 1050's did NOT have that extra slot. Does your research show otherwise? Thanks again!

Hi I’m looking for a replacement 1050 my dad bought me in 1960s there’s so many replicas what should I look for thanks

Hi Ricky, well, i think you had either a 1050 that said "Made in U.S. Zone Germany" or "Made in Western Germany" on the bottom. If you received it in 1960 or 1961'ish it probably was a US Zone car. If later it probably was a Western Germany car. If you want a certain color, and the box with instructions and tools you might have to pay around $100 or so on Ebay. if you just want the car, then you'll be in the $60 range. Make sure that is works properly, the rubber ring is still on the bottom winder, and it has not been repainted. Good luck with your search!
