Hi Hans, actually, I do not use any apps for my tours - quite old-fashioned, I am working with maps, guides (as Rother or Kompass), and often, I am combining several proposed tours to my personal pleasure (in this specific case it's a combination of tours #21, 22 and 23 including "varianten" out of "Rother Wanderführer Gasteinertal"). As preparation for every tour, I am writing my personal tour plan with distances, altitudes and approx. walking times, possible "exits" ... the only online feature I am using is outdooractive.com's tour planner (here you will e.g. find the "path" from Hasseck to Lower Paarsee, which you will not find in any official map or guide...). Don’t go in winter I went in march in this year and couldn’t finish it snow was hip deep at some points wouldn’t recommend looks way better in summer

That's why I put the tour date in all my descriptions: it should be obvious that conditions may vary (even until early summer!), and that of course, doing this hike (and most of the others) in winter, when even down in the valley it's completely snowy, all marks are covered and there is actually no path to follow, requirements for equipment and knowledge are pretty different from what you may expect in summer.

Ja, ist wirklich eine Traumtour - kann man am Video gar nicht so einfangen ... lohnt sich wirklich sehr.
