The fact that Pomp is on here telling people to not leave money on exchanges and dissing on traders, while he was a lead investor in BlockFi who lost all their user's funds by providing under/non-collatoralized loans to traders to "earn yield" for BlockFi depositors is wildddddd to me. On here pumping for Bitcoin while the "yield" that BlockFi would earn is from these traders borrowing Bitcoin from BlockFi, wrapping them and entering them into actual DeFi protocols. When those traders defaulted on those loans on these protocols, the protocols absorbed their collateral, while BlockFi (a Centralized entity) are dependent on traders returning the funds when requested for. When they couldn't cause they lost it in the market trading, BlockFi users were left holding the bag. Trustless vs Trust-based systems.

I've been in crypto since 2016. Concerning FTX : Interesting unfolding, someone used backdoor access to syphon some ethereum by the tens of millions from user accounts and no one really know who the account belongs to. It has been hovering around the top 30 biggest ethereum holders in a single address on the chain. Recently someone did some research on Twitter about the account and found that the ethereum has been move to 30+ different account in 500k$ + amounts. The big oopsie is that one of these addresses has been linked to a Binance account that uses KYC (know your user), so chances are we will found out how happened to 30+ millions dollars of users money and who stole it. It's chump changes in the overall situation, but the plot thickens.

When it comes to CZ taking down FTX, there was a great video edit of The Office. It's the episode where Dwight lights a fire in the office. Dwight plays CZ. Alameda research is Pam.
