Yes it does! and that is what makes it so interesting for me. Plus there are always good people in the sport that will give you tips. Hopefully we see improvements the more we do. Thanks for tuning in.

Glad to see you moving out of the way for other faster drivers, just wish more people were as considerate, 4wd is a different technique, it will come, keep the faith 👍

People who drive 4wd drink whiskey in pints, listen to death metal and would have probably kicked my head in if I hadn't. J/k aside I was on my best behavior because I knew I would be way off the pace. Cheers for tuning in Tommy.

Cheers for the vote of confidence Will. I have made a lot of changes to the car which should help a good deal. Reduced the power in the thing, fixed a problem I had with the shocks, reduced the gearing. May even add Turbo just to keep some ommmpth when I open her up. Southport this weekend should be awesome if we get good weather. I also think I was on the wrong tires on the front but they are out of stock everywhere because everyone is buying them.

Sure does look loose out there for a 4wd ... yikes! Your times are fairly consistent even though you're following a different path around the track each lap LOL. Practice practice practice! Along with following a decent setup sheet to start with and adding tweeks in to adjust to your own driving style. Tire selection can make a difference too, if you have a collection to try and experiment with. I asked the local club how often they change to new tires. One of the fast young guys says he changes them start of every race day ... OUCH that's gotta hurt the money pocket if you're not sponsored. Another fellow about the same skill as me was saying about every 4 or 5 races. With a good selection of tires, you can probably also group them as to how many runs/minutes each set of tires has on them to gauge whether they're running down, especially if they're soft or medium compound. The big thing is that running 2 cars means your on the track twice as long and getting twice the experience and thus getting better twice as soon! Looking good Paul, thanks for sharing. Fhuz out.

Yerhh I spent all last night in messenger with folks getting setup data, Changed a lot in ESC and will be working on drag brake this weekend at Southport. I was also on the wrong tires on the front for this meeting but had no other. People run Mezzo's on the front which is a Medium spike tire and cut one or two rows off the inner and outer. I am going to try and get some before the next race hopefully. Made a lot of changes to the car, I changed the pistons at one point during this weekend and once I finished them they felt like they were binding. I have fixed this now and got my shocks feel sweet. I also went in the esc and reduced a few things in there. Guys reckon I need turbo just so she opens up at higher Revs. Booked in 4wd this weekend at Southport which is a much flatter track. I think that will be a good session. I know it is going to take a while to get used to this. They are such quick beasts. Thanks for tuning in. As long as I am still having fun.
