Apparently, this was the last song that Clara Schumann heard on her deathbed. Beautiful.

A piece is played on an instrument and a song is sung. There. Great explanation. So Clara heard her *dead* husband’s piece when she was dying.

One of the most beautiful pieces composed ever in my opinion. You can tell that Schumann was madly in love with Clara If I had one wish granted in my life it would be to write something this beautiful for the woman I love

I can get on your exaggerating train,and say that THIS IS THE BEST PIECE EVER WRITTEN AND NEVER THERE WILL BE A BETTER PIECE THAN THIS IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE

@@Chris-rr9ud One of the most beautiful doesn't mean most beautiful. There are plenty of other gorgeous pieces for solo piano - Chopin's Ballade No. 1, Rachmaninoff's Elegie... This also belongs in the top of the top :)

@@argeon6969 you should make a list of 1000 (one of the best piano pieces ever written),and believe me you will realize this piece will be far away from the top.But its all subjective at the end of the day.I am just tired under every comment sections of pieces people saying every song the best.I wouodnt name even one //best or beautiful// because every piece is unique and beautiful in its own way.I really doubt from the whole repertoire you have heard,this one is one of the most beautiful.

BRILLIANT! I have studied several recordings of this wonderful seemingly easy piano piece. It's not an easy piece and most of the luminaries are kind of sloppy with their performance. You're not and you are one of two who play this piece so wonderfully and transform the inner feeling to us as listeners (The other pianist is Guiomar Novaes). Wonderful! Thank You 🙏🏻

Beautiful, such a warm play, D#-1 octave above middle C- the unisons are a bit off, but other than that is great!

I'm sorry. Only if I could have a transcription with it's key rather switched to Gb...!! Really not into sharp keys!!!!!
@alanleoneldavid17872 жыл бұрын
It's the same!!! Learn to read both keys. If you switch you reading from flat to sharp and viceversa it's a nice exercise. Same with pieces with double sharps or double flats
