I'm a GM guy, but I absolutely LOVE the GT40. Made just out of spite of a salty Italian insulting Ford. American muscle stuffed in a British chassis to make one of the best and most iconic machines ever made. In my opinion, one of the most important cars in history, especially American history.

Was this one ever in Orlando? We live on a busy corner and I hear a hundred V8s with loud exhaust go by every day. But one day I heard a glorious noise and ran from the back of the house to the front door, sliding around and knocking shit over like a cat, to see a GT40 a couple blocks up driving away. The driver must have sensed it, because he made one more pass making a U-turn right in front of my house. It was... beautiful.

I know I am definitely not the only person that feels this way. That sound ❤❤. Of course it's not just the sound or exhaust or the engine. It's the entire Vehicle and the legend that is deserved As for myself I will say as long as I had enough money to pay for the insurance and keep it fueled up. Having that in my garage or driveway would change my life forever. It would easily outweigh any challenges in life. Even if I went to the doctor and he said. I'm sorry we didn't know this before. But you have less than six months to live maybe less. Of course I wouldn't be very happy. Obviously would take a little to accept 😢 But I would look up at my doctor with a big smile.😊 I would tell him don't worry about it.I've had a awesome and fulfilling life. And when I leave i'm going to get into my car, and go on a long very fast drive. Pretty sure I would not be focused on my diagnosis. Actually think within a few minutes of giving that car hell. Probably wouldn't have it on my mind at all. Regardless of how long I lived. Owning that vehicle, would be a life already full. But a life Fulfilled with the glass running over. 🍾🍾 FORD 🇺🇸 POWER ❤❤❤

Most likely a Ford FE 427 big block. It looks like a mk2 and not a mk1, u can tell from the rear snorkel ducts on the engine cowling. Mk1 had the Windsor in it, mk2 was redesigned to fit the FE big block. Mk2s can still have Windsors in them but from that sound I want to say it's a big boi.

Friend this is an everything killer, 0-60 in 4 seconds (1966 version) or 3.5 seconds for the heritage version from Ford (2006) also being ~2500 lbs it's still a quick car
