2:26 As a mechanic, I never get tired of the movie trope that hitting a control pannel (seperate from the actual mechanical parts of a machine) somehow fixes a major mechanical problem with the system. Edit: It’s common that tapping or hitting certain items may end up getting them to work, when it’s the mechanical parts of the machine your hitting. It’s called “percussion maintenance” But not when you’re hitting a keyboard seperate from the computer/mechanical electronics system that actually has the fault.

Clouds ...rain...the substance is biochemical. Clouds can be created. Already known on earth. Maybe this was a short explanation in the movie, but to understand how to create a cloud, you must dive into meteorology and chemistry. Before judging. And she was the only one making a difference. With her everyone had water. With the other, selfish people, there was maybe just a few drops of water. Rain OR a cloud. Cloud is not handy for everyone. Rain is water for everyone ... ;) Just look at the heavy cloud at the end. And at the tanks with just a few drops. I say...go go girl without any help from the selfish idiots. Well, i like the perfection of the craftmanship behind it. From effects over sound to cut and music it was perfectly fine. And the story itself appears very human - it just dont make any sense. They lack any water and need wind to get energy. But they still use planes - but the old, big stuff which needs A LOT of fuel. They keep shooting around meanwhile they for sure have no supply. But they dont build any anti-aircraft canons to protect themselves from pirates (which they clearly are). They searched for those old planes (in the time of F15 and better there are few functional plaes of the shown types left, so they must have searched them to bring them all together) - but they did not use the technology of the warships nor are their nuclear reactors a problem nor a solution for anything it seems. The big plane in the end is full of dual fireing guns and machines that need a lot more then a little bit of water. The girl is going to test its invention, and after seeing that it works she dosnt abort and wait for another opportunity but risks her life to stop them. But why? She can obviously repeat or continue (what she does in the end). Yes, i got it, clouds are rare in that world - but they seem to exist often enough for a rogue economy basing on it. And in the end the boy (her brother or a friend or son?) who guided her in the beginning seems not to be impressed by the fight at all - and when he gets his hand on the plan there STILL is no sign of remorse. He has to know that this document in his hands means she is dead. I could continue, but that stuff killed it for me. I did not vote it down as it still is a great shortfilm by its making and logic in films is some sort of personal taste. But thats why I would dislike it.

But in order for them to convey all of that, the movie would probably have had to be 15 - 20 minutes long, maybe more. What if the people collecting the water do that so they can upkeep their version of Noah's ark, tending to plants and animals in a domed area in order to preserve them. We just don't know. We only see planes shooting at each other, and ultimately killing a lot of human beings for a reason that isn't explained.
