I love your videos Archana Ji! You are a genius in explaining complex science concepts so clearly so that they are easy to understand. Your video graphics are awesome too. In this video, I especially love how you felt the presence of God in the beautiful properties of water, such as ice floating on water, which is essential for the survival of life in oceans and rivers during cold winters. I am going to binge-watch your Science and God series right now. I believe that I will get answers to questions that I have been pondering all of my life. Stated simply: I think that your videos are incredibly awesome and should be required viewing for every person on the planet.

Every creation or destruction of this universe has its purpose. The problem is that we look at everything aspect of our petty desires and pursuit of pleasures. Messages from ancient times got lost God has turned to self interest. Thank you so much Mam for this wonderful explanation of purpose of ice. The universe is so perfect on itself 😍

Thank you again! ❤ We "humans" tend to confuse infinity with something being very large, or very long, but infinity has absolutely nothing to do with distance or duration. It is completely apart from it ,to be found here and now!

Is the one brother traveling at the speed of light standing still or breaking the time barrier? In other words, when he should be aging he’s actually moving back to the time he started and not standing still because he is moving. But moving back…not in physical space but in time. I get it but only sort of:)

There is a chapter in the Gita, the field and the knower of the field. It is common to the religious seeker and the scientist. Would love to hear more connections you can identify between science and the scriptures. These two indeed do not need to be separate.

Time is defined by humans with reference to the earths rotation around its axis therefore with the setting and rising of the sun. We cannot use same scale of measurement of space and time outside our planet. The scale has to change completely and that is beyond our comprehension. We can comprehend what we can visualise or witness. It’s that simple. We use parsec, astronomical unit AU and light years to measure distances in space in astronomy. All these remain unwitnessed as no one has really travelled such a distance

Hi Your comparison between the banyan tree and the big bang - has a fallacy. The Banyan seed took nutrients from the earth, air, water and grew - in the big bang from which external source did anything come in?
@templesbooksandscience86974 жыл бұрын
That is a valid point. This is not my comparison. This is a comparison that is used in chandogya upanishad as an example of something arising out of nothing. The analogy cannot be stretched too much.
@templesbooksandscience86974 жыл бұрын
The point I was trying to make is our sages had the vision to imagine a universe arising from nothing (the limitations of the example not withstanding)

It is not that Rishis imagined or visualized. They experienced! Current science does not yet know the powers of the pancha koshas. Our rishis were highly evolved energy beings. How did the math genius Sri Ramanujan intuit highest levels of mathematical concepts and equations. Our rishis were orders of magnitude more intelligent. The more intriguing part is, these upanishads were created before this epoch Kali yug. How were the knowledge transferred from previous yugas? By the 7 Siranjeevis could be.

It not important whether that king was kakudmi, it's also not important whether he had a marrigiable daughter or not. The mind blowing part of it is - How on earth could the theory of time dilation be known to our Rishis millenia ago. I have never ever felt to be a part of our ancient heritage.

Very well explained Mam. I have become a fan of yours. I also remember a story where Rama sends Hanuman to patala loka to find his ring in order to avoid hanuman coming in way of Yama taking Rama's life. There in patala loka Hanuman finds multiple similar rings when Vasuki explains him the concept of recurrence of events (something similar to multiverse). And also when Hanuman reaches bhuloka back several thousand years would have passed and Rama had died long ago. Then he understands the concept of time relativity. Theses stories give me goosebumps everytime I think of them.

Madam..very nice explanations...but one point ...you seem to suggest our knowledge of our ancestors as imagination...request you to rethink..and it may be clear that it is not an imagination...in fact the stories told by ancestors cud have been an imaginative way to explain complex concepts, the truths they knew , in very simple way , to common people. Appreciate your efforts..but pls remember the concepts of the scientists like Segan are similar to the truths proposed by our ancestors..not the other way around... Hope you will take care in your future presentations. Sincere suggestor ... SanjayRam

Thanks for the feedback. That is a matter of opinion. In took several centuries of scientific advancement to uncover these scientific facts. How sages could have known these scientific facts without the help of telescopes, electricity and such tools is something we need to think about. What you are saying may be proven true someday. Until such time it is just speculation. What is undeniable is that these concepts are way ahead of their time. Even if it is imagination it is something we can all be proud about. That is the point I was making

Let us first understand the physics governing our subjective visual perception. How do we see what we see? What are all the objects involved in the facilitation of the experience of seeing? OK, we all know the basics. Imagine you are in a dark auditorium along with 500 others looking at a RED COLOR CAR on the stage , facilitated by flashlight focused on the car. Different light rays produced by the flashlight reflected off the car passes through each one's eyes and falls on the retina. The ganglion cells function as a transducer converting 430 Terahertz signals into neural frequencies in the range of 0 to less than 300 hz, which through the retinal neurons forming the optic nerve splits into 2 sets for each eye, one branching into the left brain and the other into the right brain. A bunch of neurons fire in the brain in the visual cortex region within the darkness of the skull, and somehow each one in the auditorium perceives the RED CAR facilitated by different light ray spectrum bounced off the RED CAR. and converted into neural signals by the ganglion cells. We can only observe low frequency neural signals with the help of an MRI scanner . How and where, if in the brain, are the neural signals processed using anything like the image reconstruction algorithm used in an MRI scanner? NO SCIENTIST ON THE PLANET KNOWS and will know! What inside each one or associated with each one's body, fabricates different images of the RED CAR, and how there is a tacit consensus among everyone in the auditorium about the perception of the RED CAR, is the mystery that need to be unraveled first. DOES VEDANTA EXPLAIN IT? Now coming to the subject of dreams in your video, who is the intelligent script writer who incorporates complicated nuances of the dialogs, the adroit sculptor of imageries, and the director of the dream movie an observer sees? I am deeply into spirituality too and would love discussion with you on WhatsApp 9394034617 should you be inclined. Dr Joe George

stop using the word "mythology" for vedic texts. veda (sanskrit) = knowledge, science (latin) = knowledge. Just because something is ancient, doesnt make it mythology.

Mam, I like your videos but at the same time feel disappointed when you call our timeless vedic culture & wisdom, mythology. Well if it is so, you shouldn't be cherishing it. Also, until when we should be relinquishing credits to Sanatan, in the name of secularism and being politically correct? I think we should stay fearless and be proud rather than acting guilty or defensive!
