Have you ever wondered how potato chips maintain their crispiness from factory to bag? I'm curious about the techniques used to ensure every chip is perfectly crispy and delicious. Could there be innovative methods behind preserving freshness that we're not aware of?😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

They add nitrogen to the bag to eliminate oxygen, that keeps the chips fresh and safe. People always say "ThErE iS mOrE aIr ThAn ChIpS" but it is actually nitrogen and without it the chips would be broken and stale. Chips are sold by weight not how big the bag looks.

great video, very informative and well put together! but i have to say, while potato chips are delicious, the process seems a bit excessive for such a simple snack. do we really need that much machinery just to fry some potatoes? just a thought!

Whenever you sample something it is important to always throw something away. Haven't you seen how wine tasters spit out the wine?

@@Robsenairgun Just to be sure, I was just joking. It looks pretty absurd to be throwing it out like that, I would never throw out any potato ships, haha. But maybe they are not eating the part that their hands touched? I have no idea. Have a great day!

Rather primitive by American standards.....the green potatos would never make it to an American factory.....the quality control process is much more advanced in the USA....
@Cradleling10 ай бұрын
How? And how is it more effective? Removing "bad" product on a production line isn't primitive :P But I would really like to know what separates these production lines. I am way too obsessed with potato chips :)

@@mikemanners1069 These are Lays, it is a Pepsico plant. I believe this is Kashira in Russia one of the most advanced within Pepsico. Green potatoes make it to lays plants in the US for sure. They get removed during the process the same way.

it's that America is better than anyone else ego belief, which disregards others no matter/even if they don't have any proof. like believing processed bread is made with human hair in China from barber shops, which is false.. but gullible people believe things like that anyway, without any proof.. just because it was said/written by someone they trust
