1)Various methods through which mixtures can be separated : Distillation, Centrifugation, Filtration, evaporisation, Handpicking etc. For example 1. evaporisation can be used to separate salt from seawater 2. Filtration can be used to separate small pieces of stones and dirt from water 3. Centrifuge method is used in dairies to separate butter from cream and various other products. 2) Heterogeneous mixtures - i. Wind - mixture of air with dust, pollen grains of. Plants etc. ii. Bhel. iii. Soda (water +Co2) iv. Soil and water. v. Oil and water 3) homogenous mistures : Air, sugar water solution, wine etc
