is electrical energy considered as one of energy store?
@GCSEasy10 ай бұрын
Electrical energy is classed as an energy transfer. For example a battery contains a chemical store which is transferred to a motor as an electrical energy. The electrical transfer "fills" the kinetic energy store of the motor, so it moves.
@hagermetwally144810 ай бұрын
@@GCSEasy so what the energy store in the mains?
@GCSEasy10 ай бұрын
@@hagermetwally1448 That's a bit more complicated. You're getting a transfer of electricity into your home circuits, which you then transfer to power appliances. As the transfer is electrical, it will only be able to 'move' when you have an appliance plugged in and turned on. This is because currents can only flow and transfer the energy when you complete to circuit and turn the appliance on. The electricity you use will have reached you through the larger power lines and originated in a power station. A power station often uses the chemical stores in fuel to power a turbine (kinetic store) which then generates electricity (electrical transfer.) This electricity is either stored again in a battery for later or transferred directly through the power lines to substations, and then your home. I hope that helps!

Is sound part of radiation or a mechanical transfer? as it is a mechanical wave. Also thank you this video is great!
@GCSEasy3 жыл бұрын
This can be tricky to get your head around, but I think if it like this: Sound can travel when there are particles that can be moved from side to side (oscillate) but NOT if there are no particles to move (such as in a vacuum - you can't hear sound in space!). So, The particles are moved when the sound starts to travel through it (this is a transfer - radiation) which moves the particles (mechanical store is filled up) I hope this helps!
