An instructor is supposed to instruct a set of manual or information, so u possess it. A teacher teaches knowledge so u understand. A guru shows u the way, for u to follow and try and ur own, to imbibe. She is a guru. Instructor is rather insufficient and part derogatory term for someone of her grace and status (I know u didnt mean it that way, so no worries).

@@crazyfaith77 I'm a black man. I live in a city where people for the most part are so ignorant to knowledge and wisdom. A place where the culture is so detached from the very basis of what she's trying to instill. Its depressing that the majority of my people (black) are so against each other. @@crazyfaith77 "... Nobody cares about these type of women in the west. Because of our skin color..." Please don't take this the wrong way, and perhaps it wasn't your intention, but that comment comes across as a bit racist. For one, it implies that only people of color can be enthusiastic, passionate, intelligent, and humble. Which is clearly not the case. But also, I think you're incorrect on this point. While there's plenty of racism in the west (as there is everywhere else) the real reason, is that there is little appreciation for these traits in Western culture, in general. Or not enough appreciation, I should say. Western culture has become very anti-intellectual, and also celebrates and encourages ego, and ego-driven pursuits. And the type of people who do appreciate traits such as these (especially intelligence and humility) are far less likely to be racist, generally speaking. Racism is just the icing on the cake.
I recollect Swami Vivekananda's quote "Difference between man to man is the difference in their concentration" I think the name of the booklet is " Secret of Success".

Most of us, in general, have more diversions that give excitement. Diversion reduces concentration. some people with less diversion are able to concentrate and achieve what they aim. This is what I think!

@@shivanandtalawar5020 Hey my real surname is Talwar too same pinch. Lol. Also the difference in concentration is nothing but what you understand by it. Some Atmans after having matured after many lifetimes and many births and deaths. They practise extreme concentration. They do this to either do what their bodies and minds desire or if they are more matured for the true reason that is to serve the Atman. To attain yoga that is union with God the Purushottam meaning moksha that is Liberation and help this divided Atman around you. All the people who are just a part of yourself to attain Moksha.

@@naveenarora6467 everything is fine. My basic question was, the so called pure soul (as some call it brahman, atman, jeevatma, anga etc) how this difference of concentration between pure soul started, many of the schools have escaped this question by saying it is due to beginning-less ignorance. Which is not convincing tbh. It's my personal opinion though.

Thank you for an outstanding lecture. As a westerner, who was not familiar with the words you use to describe mind things and the whole culture vibe, along with very useful knowledge, this is like a highly valued gem for me. What is interesting is, that I can see how bored many of the young people look in the audience. I know this from mandatory school special lectures, where everyone is instructed or even pushed to go from my parts of the world also. And many young people in the audience surely have preconceived notions and ideas about things like yoga or meditation because they are almost desensitized from hearing it from the moment they are born and everywhere from their culture and therefore cannot see behind the distortion that this curtain creates. Sometimes people comment on this like every school should teach this. But maybe then it would look like this; many bored people. Maybe some knowledge is better as a secret gem. Just a thought. :)

Pravrajika Madam Thousand Pranams to your great self. Actually you are No.1 Yoga exponent that too combined with true Psychology! Psychologists and Psychiatrists should listen to you. Actually even Scholars in our Vedic and scriptural knowledge do not know that our sctiptures like Geetha , Upanishads and yoga sastras contain immense knowledge on psychology. Psychologists dont know anything about Atman which is the real substratum of human mind! The entire world should follow the noble words spoken by you. May God bless you to make such great presentations in the times to come. You can usher in a renaissance in Spirituality and Yoga! Thank you madam and with high regards. Pranams.

"Skill is not enough... the mind must be calm and without negativity.." I typically put all my energy toward skill building, to the point that I may disregard all else and then become frustrated with myself when I don't achieve my capability. This video was so incredibly relevant and helpful in making me more aware of certain ailments. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
