Ingenious INDEED. Now where can I find those sound chips? Amazon doesn’t have those sound chips available here in the US.

What would be the voltage of this cell?

I believe the electrolyte serves as a medium to carry ions, not electrons. Great video anyways

The word electrons and ions are used interchangeably in many cases, specially when dealing with redox reactions as it mainly involves movement of electrons in the form of ions only, and a galvanic cell works on the principle of redox reactions

Aluminum and copper reacts with the vinegar creating charges on the Aluminum and copper plates and releasing ions into the cotton mesh, that way the electrical neutrality in the cotton is maintained thus creating a potential difference across the two terminals.

Great video. How to make it a bit powerful or what other materials can be used to make more powerful?
@bad-people6510 Жыл бұрын
Use zinc instead of aluminum and build a taller stack. More layers.

And if you want more amperage you need to use larger sheets.

Use the electrochemical series, take a chemical with a high srp as cathode and one with a very low srp as anode, the cell potential must be positive though otherwise it won't work.

is lithium used?
@bp79016 жыл бұрын
Mark Cooney no, only aluminum, copper, and vinegar
