A little wait to start in English, brings a few surprising ideas, like saying that prayer is not enough because it doesn't replace action, declaring that secularism respect all religions, the need of scientific study of the inner emotions to balance outer developments, and reflecting that morals must not be based on religion while esential to eliminate corruption and provide trust among people seeking lasting peace. His Holiness is simply amazing.

Union of ancient Indian thoughts on mind and world scientists can find new effective ways to develop peace not only in an environment but also in the minds of human beings. This way may reduce huge amount of negative and destructive emotions that destroy our health and brain. This "Way" is practice of secular ethics proved by scientific experiments. Long live HH the Dalai lama.

Your thinking of religion or specifically Judiac religions and even more specifically, fundamentalistic practices of them. Spirituality isn't religion though maybe used by religion and is extremely difficult to define as it would seem any definition would be very limited.
