I play soccer and I got 2 concussions 4 months apart from each other from heading the ball. I’m fine... I think. But concussion suck do not recommend.

This is such a dire, serious problem that I´m amazed that no one has even commented on this before, this and other similar vidoes need to be divulged as much as possible! Also, the serious consequences of such head traumas by blows on the head have also caused not only serious degenerative diseases but also fatalisties on the victims and this has been going on worldwide quite so often!!! I´m sharing this on my two edublogs as well as on Facebook. Thank you SO MUCH for it!

@@ramjanbiswas970 I'm so sorry fior what happened to you, I've had assaults on my head as a teen and I used to hit my head often as a child as well, all of this ended up causing even more problems when I got over 50, now at 64 even more so. Thanks to your comment, I could go over this excellent video I had sadly forgotten about! I'll share it again so more people can be warned of such risks, especially parents since this sort of 'sport' can also cause serious damage a future surgeon's brain with irretrievable consequences.

We must keep sharing this video and more recent ones about this cause even what people consider inoffensive soccer practices among kids may harm their brains even more so, which would mean disaster if the person in questions intends to be a surgeon or some other profession which requires perfect comand of ones' reflexes!

Not all headers are alike. Heading a goal kick the opposite direction and same with a goalie punt are a lot more serious than heading a slow moving ball to a teammate 5 yards away. But we can just go to soccer countries in Europe and take a look at how they fare. I got a concussion playing soccer and had to take time off from studies. I wish coaches not practice heading once a player has the technique down. Possibly no more goal kicks and punts.

Heading the ball is stupid & unnecessary. Just make the goals wider, like 30 feet. This would also eliminate the need for soccer's embarrassing theatrics to yield a penalty kick when the scores are zero - zero near the end of play. It would also make the game better for spectators as much more goals would be scored & from much further away; less congestion in front of the goals, more epic long range kicks. I don't know why doctors don't just openly say "ban heading". Sports codes weren't written by God. It's just a game.

Yeah...and why not play it with an oval shaped ball....and allow carrying it with hands....oh wait...that's rugby....ffs...every sport has its fair shair of pros and cons....that doesn't mean you should change a game into a shittier version.
