Walls and ceilings need to be converted with the conversion tool, once the room has been set and construction has begun. I think refurnishing will only change the ceiling, if it hasn't been built yet.

This series is a lifesaver for learning Songs of Syx. This game really doesn't hold my Hand, even though i have experience with Banished, Farthest Frontier and Dwarf Fortress :D Great work on this Tutorial/walkthrough series. It's a great way to gain awareness of what a new player should be aware about so they dont trip from one catastrophy into the next !

Searched for a Guide for V65 and this is gold, thank you! Although I am still astonished by how much has changed since you made this video. My UI looks very different and a lot of things seem to have changed since then. (Tech tree looking different, no food stalls or markets anymore, trade UI looks very different too and other things...)

Idk if you opted into the Beta via Steam Properties of the game (gotta select v65 manually in the Betas menu) - that could be reason one. The other reason could be that this videos footage is already outdated cause Jake already fixed the UI up to look different ^^

Itd be cool to see some guides on planning your city out long term, lile general practices and stuff so you dont get to a point where youre like "delete everything" after placing stuff organically Edit: actually it also might be a good idea to do that at the end after youve gone over all the mechanics as a sort of planning ahead with everything we know now

Another tip while talking about farms use canels as they boost fertility hope this helps someone

I think games food numbers are right. Your people harvest the wild foods and that goes into the count. Look at the fish and meat, it shows the right numbers.

Besides the Food Clock not giving out proper numbers, everything seems to work just fine.

You need to activate the Beta for v65. It's not officially released yet, normal release is v64 right now. This series is for the upcoming version.

No, this is merely the v65 Beta you need to opt into manually in the Steam Properties Menu.
