~ A truck driver who lives with his mommy & brother. ~ A woman he just met beaten to death with a shovel - (& NOT the little plastic kind to build sand castles.) ~ Lies from the get-go with investigators, then an admission mixed with more lies. ~ The victim's husband had the guy's name given to him by HER. ~ She left for the date and never came home. Yet not enough to charge trucker man? Uh-HUH. Look, I'm all for science & the presumption of innocence - but in this case? Given the preponderance of the evidence, the prosecutor was worried Gary's bs story about her death being an "accident" might cause a jury to ACQUIT? Puh-leeze! I've sat on two juries, the last as forewoman. Given the facts of this case and even w/o the sand evidence, there is just no way he WOULDN'T BE have been convicted!
