Talk was unnecessarily long but I learnt some useful things 1) know your audience (science institute? health institute? funding agency?) 2) remove deadwood phrases (true fact --> fact) 3) remove all ideas that don't add to your main argument 4) have a grammar book

think about it this way a proposal: is what you should say to your wife, if you want to go with your friends camping for the weekend. a dissertation: is how you explain to her being late. you will have to use a civilized language which you don't use most of the time, you will have to start with reminding her of who you are, such as , am I not your husband, am I not your love. then you go to the title, being late is not the end of the world. proceeding to the abstract, we had a lot of fun and

and as soon as we arrived we deployed our tints and lived just like any other campers do. methodology: a big smile should not leave your face the phone numbers of your friends are ready to be called, you have written the time of all activities that you participated in. now is the results: from 1 pm to 2 pm we built the tints 2 pm to 3 pm we made the lunch and so on. don't forget to cite who asked you to do any activity conclusion: you will not camp again. recommendations: stay home and watch TV.

I mean who said the writing a dissertation is hard. every day spouses have to make either an essay if the mistake was small or a presentation if the mistake was medium or a dissertation if a deferent perfume was on you when you came back. life is a university isn't it
