The deeper I go in the wisdom Tenzin talks about the more I realize how messed up I was and how messed up western people around me such as family, friends, etc are. Most people think in unhealthy ways, they view the world as hostile, they are riddled by fear, and have much confusion in their minds. It's a real torture and life not worth living, I hope this light heartening teachings take deep root in the west.

He is just outstanding. His perspectives and methods really move one right away. Once having the experience it is easier to find it again and over time cgoing to that space the experience deepens. It's not a struggle or a whole prescriptive of things to do. From that space is where healing,, creativity,, love and awakening are to be found. Nothing can be done in the state which creates and supports the "problem." Don't watch your thoughts go by as if a stream. Just watch the stream. His methods work for me to get m to a fresh place outside of my conditioned self. Deep respect for him.

Lo tengo desde hace más de 20 años, lo leí, comencé a aprender las técnicas, pero, en aquel entonces, no lo comprendí debido a mi mente reactiva; casualmente, he comenzado a interiorizarlo desde hace una semana y ahí voy!

Are dreams within dreams possible? I thought I'd read somewhere that you cant turn on a light switch in dreams. Last night in a dream I became aware I was dreaming and thought to test this idea. As I got closer to the light switches i felt a force pushing me away but fighting against it, with difficulty I turned on the lights but they were very dim, just able to see the orange of the filaments. I didnt realise this was dream #2 as dream character 2 awoke to dream #1. I, dream character 1, started seeing a lot of weird and scary things overlaid into "waking" life. Until i finally awoke from dream 1. Is this dream within a dream possible? (Its dream character 0 asking). PS thanks for the beautiful talk!

Yes, this happens often. And it's a good sign, it means you are really starting to work with your mind! It's often called a 'false awakening'. Because you think you wake up, but it's just another stage in the dream. I once had this 7 times in a row. In fact, it is one of the reasons it's good to check if you're in a dream! Light switches are one method. Some people try to read the lines on their hand (which are different or not there in dreams). Others try to read something, look away, and read it again (if it's a dream, the text will change). Myself, I just jump. If I hit the ground hard, I'm awake. In a dream I float a little bit.

He's got a nice voice - what happens when your attention becomes all there is and you lose consciousness momentarily? Your entire body has become completely numb, your mind has retired and your anxieties no longer matter. You are at the point of no return. In that instant before loss of consciousness, the sensation is of being sucked out of the top of the head - like a general anaesthetic ... Then you suddenly wake up in a new dimension. All is effortless - dark lightness - silence - vastness - absolute clarity - wonder - intimate intense motherlove surrounds and fills you. You observe and reflect but not as before. You can see twinkling lights and feel gentle coolness - how can that be? You've never been here before yet this state is so familiar. The promise has been made real, not by someone else - but by your own effort! Everything you secretly longed for - Home. You remain here as long as you can, then you must return. But you can never forget this life changing experience - and you may return when conditions are right. It is the beginning.

Sunyata the Japanese Buddhists call it the state of Ku when a person enters or experiences perfect quietude perfect stillness. That's when your thoughts stop completely! No thoughts at all! And your body becomes as still as a statue YOU can't move! YOU enter a state of being where you're neither dead or alive, or dead and alive at the same time! this is not a metaphor! I mean this Literally! the in between state between death and birth! it is Not Catalepsy! This has happened to me many times spontaneously. The words Void or emptiness, means void or empty of karma! the Buddha nature or illumined mind is empty of karma!
