Fun fact: at 0:20, that's the STL's 0412, and while that might not be the case for much longer, since it's 20 years old now, it's still currently in service! edit: well... it hasn't been active since the 4th of October...

This is an older Novabus 40ft LFS. I work at the Plattsburgh, NY plant where we build 40ft & 60ft. All the structures are built in Saint-François-du-Lac in Quebec, Canada.

I heard that the Plattsburgh plant was going to be shutting down is that true?
@Fiveliterdave11 ай бұрын
@@themagiccartoon1306 Yes it is unfortunately. Volvo made that call due to the profitability in the US market. It's unfortunate as I believe we do a great job here building buses.

@@Fiveliterdave that sucks because I found the ones from the New York plant were a lot more reliable

If you have a real weird love for city buses like I do, I bought a kickin PC recently with a Steam game "The Bus" currently pre-sold and under dev. It's german, it's as realistic as you can fake driving the real thing. I found a single gray hair and felt the rush I guess

Ever since I moved to germany, I've been weirdly interested in buses too. Public transport isn't all that common where I grew up, so being able to use it regularly has made me appreciate how well-connected it is here. I'm suddenly very into trains and busses and the way they're designed and operated over here

That bus isn't carrying 80 people! More like around 45-50 at the maximum and that won't be comfortable.
@Rob_Mike_Litterst2 жыл бұрын
typical size (non-accordeon) is 85 people sat + upright. If you are a whale with a backpack it might feel like more crowded, fat ppl in north america is a HUGE trend unlike a cyrillic name speaking good English, I salute that :D
