need to take a LIDAR laser ranging device down into those flooded tunnels and have it expertly map out the entire area so that you can then know what is available for boat access (until any descending tunnel is completely flooded to the ceiling) ... and then consider such options as creating a new drainage tunnel from a lower surface landscape feature - and then drain out the tunnels and have such fresh water sources for the local irrigation needs. Drain out the tunnel works and then be able to solve those questions of the past.

Imagine thinking that science is divorced from history. Imagine how much science could have been done if Nazi money wasn't smuggled out and distributed among western countries in the last years of the war What, does science just appear out of thin air? The books just write themselves? Research funds fall from trees? How much science is being done today - developing science that *isn't* being funded by capitalism just so they can make more useless drones and microchips that have a 0.0001% increase in efficency
