Scientific Evidence for a Secret Door in the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid | Ancient Architects

In this video I am re-visiting subject matter from over a year ago, when I discussed a possible second doorway into the King’s Chamber, in front of the sarcophagus on the north wall. This block is not load-bearing, so technically can be removed without compromising the King’s Chamber, and there are also cracks in the blocks surrounding it as well as wear on the joints, implying that maybe this block wasn’t originally in place, but was added later.
I am told it has the same dimensions as the end of the King’s Chamber sarcophagus, so could be a possible way for it to have gotten into the chamber after the pyramid’s completion. It is too large for the entrance used today and therefore the current explanation that it was placed into the King’s Chamber before the pyramid was complete, may not actually be true.
Since making the video well over a year ago, I have been somewhat taken by this idea of a second entrance so I have decided to look into this further.
I take into account the work of Jean Pierre Houdin, microgravimetry data from the 1980s, physical observations and I have also made a scaled down King's Chamber, which I use in this video to explain more.

Matt, the last time i was in the great pyramid was this past spring and we had exclusive access for 4 hours. we studied, filmed and measured everything we could. one absolute thing i did was measure the box and the block adjacent to it, and yes the box is smaller than the block. i believe this is the only way i can see that the box was slid into the chamber. if it was put in some other way, they hid it well.

Why not just installed during construction of chamber knowing it would be needed to take coffin after completion. Then that smaller sarcophagus containing body introduced via gallery on funeral day using current entrance and then sealed using portcullis mechanism.

if you're planning a trip to the kings chamber, a hand held ultrasonic metal thickness meter could be programmed for granite (5950 mps), they are cheap, easily obtained and would be easy to sneak in, testing wouldn't cause any damage so you could see how the second doorway brick thickness compares the rest of the wall,

Some info that might relate to this subject. On page 305 of Smyths, life and work at the Great pyramid, a Mr Inglis measured the chamber wall blocks, the block in question is 42.6 inches wide. Given the coffer is 38.50 wide (Petrie), there is clearance. Incidentally, you state that the coffer can not pass through the chamber entrance, this is incorrect, as the entrance is 41.5 wide; the coffer cannot pass the junction of the AP/DP junction, which is only 38.2 wide (Petrie) The main difficulty could be the thick granite floor level, this varied from 42.94 to 40.65 below the first course level, the coffer having a height 41.31 (see page 28 Petries revised editon) a variation of 2.29. Petrie states that this variation is not down to the excavation under the floor as the floor is 1.5 inches higher at the undermined part than the S.E corner. Hope the above is of some help.

Didn't a Japanese team discover a potential lower-density anomaly on the North wall of the Queen's Chamber as well? I think there are similar non-load-bearing blocks, too. With the recent news of the outer entrance corridor, with a curious step up that brings you in-line with the Queen's Chamber, it's easy to imagine a Royal Circuit as Houdin asserts. I can't wait to see what they discover.

Indeed, the block above the one in question could very well have served as a lintel. Interesting observation!! IF, in fact, the the sarcophagus is smaller than the width and height of the adjacent north wall block, and if the out-of-kilter orientation of the sarcophagus rwith respecto adjacent walls corresponds perfectly with the purported opening created by the lower north wall block...that would be a discovery! I'd think this evidence might be viewed as far more compelling than any geophysical data. Why? Understand, that geophysical survey detects 'anomolies,' with the anomolies detected dependent upon equipment used. One must physically investigate anomolies to achieve any degree of conclusiveness, and that's never likely to occur. Unfortunately some 9th century Arab trashed the floor between the sarcophagus and the north wall, and so we're never going to know if that floor once exhibited striations suggesting rock-on-rock scraping. However, comparing the size of rhe sarcophagus to rhe opening filled by rhe rock in question: either the sarcophagus fits or it doesn't. If it fits, and if the orienation really is precise, then we must ask, "In an edifice as precisely built as the Great Pyramid, why does the box lie angular to the north and west wall?" I can't imagine this being accidental. It should be possible to compare the angle of the sarcophagus with the angle of the east and west walls of the lower north wall stone. I'd have to study the matter to identify how this might be done but it might be possible geophysically. If so, and then if the stone's possible angular sidewalls correspond to the angle of the sarcophagus, that might just be sufficiently conclusive prompt further investigation. Such a discovery would be highly noteworthy.

Looking at your model I have got an idea - what if sarcophagus isn't really a sarcophagus at all, but the door itself? It is hollow simply because in such a way it is lighter to drag, but when it is in that hole - it covers it and looks from the back like normal block in the wall. In that case it would be possible to explain, why it's corner is broken - it was dragged from that side out of the wall or maybe the corner was broken to put a hook inside to drag it out. Because of that it isn't aligned correctly because those who dragged it didn't really care about positioning it correctly within the chamber. And the hole in the wall is covered with another block later to cover up the entrance. What do you think about this idea?

I was in the king's chamber today. I have taken photos of that stone block in question. What I found more interesting is the area that is between the grand gallery and king's chamber. There are vertical grooves/channels carved into the stone. I have pictures on request

No, the so called sarcophagus is nothing else but the plug to get in that room, it fits perfect in all dimensions measured by me back in 2016, Someone pushed it all the way to where it is and claimed to be a stupid sarcophagus! And the reason why is hollow is because it was full of fluid when the room was sealed then drained to make it lighter to move it.

You should follow up on this excellent observation. There are so many videos out there now claiming the pyramid had to be built around this sarcophagus, which is just nonsense, when it is clearly seen that the non-load bearing block just happens to be right next to and the same size for it to have been slid in. Also the elevator theory for the chamber being lowered down via salt melting is pure genius! I have always believed that to be so before I seen your video. This not only would have provided the best security but also explains the inner wall shafts (air shafts). Please follow up on these two theories as you have solved the biggest mystery of all time.

Your little model is clever. I like it. I made a tiny model of the Giza Plateau for a 4 year old and it was so fun. We used a small stuffed cat for the sphinx. Was awesome. At 5:12 you can clearly see the block has a different texture than the blocks around it. Also the reason the known entrance is in the corner is for maximum space for men pulling ropes, they need a long straight line. Just as in the Queens chamber, but here they have the added benefit of the sloping passage in the great hall. They had to move around heavy stones in the chamber to seal up the room. This stone may be the stone that had to be moved into place. Then the workers back out of the fake burial chamber, sealing it up as they go with the ropes. Those three blocks sealing the upper shaft were already in place so they used the "robbers tunnel" shaft and those same ropes to escape down thru the lower shaft. Then most likely pulled up by ropes from men waiting for them. Then the lower shaft was filled with debris. Then the outer casing stones put into place.
