Legend has it that King Tubby was a huge piece of work on The Scientist to push him to work hard on everything while truly appreciating his work. I feel like Hopeton’s teaching methods were also derived from Tubby lol

Reggae music DOESN'T NEED violins especially from a dub angle. Orchestral can work but only for big vocalists & song structure & the last was Sir John Holt

@emptywig Says ME. As a ex Sound System Selector & Reggae vinyl buyer, has the buying public gone crazy for this attempt ? This is not what DUB IS & SCIENTIST should know that BUT then again he ISN'T a producer of Reggae, only a engineer that shone from 80 - 84 latest. He's trying a ting & it didn't work.

I completely disagree. The violin can sound beautiful in Reggae arrangement and the whole Dub thing is about experimentation isn't it?
