This is what I like about science. You will be applauded when you disprove something in science.

And she couldn't stop gushing about how smart the people she had just proven wrong were. That's not the reality in other areas of life unfortunately.

Yet all the conspiracy theorists are out there trying to convince people that scientists are hiding the "truth". They claim ancient advanced technology existed for example but scientists and experts are covering it up. Why? Because they want to keep their funding for the status quo. It really makes no sense because if we really did discover something like that, grants and money would pour in.

So what is the new space, then? Would have been nice to get even a single detail…

In any case, it’s rather well-known that human perception of reality is typically logarithmic. My guess is you could just apply an exponential function to the color in order to make the distances additive

A real "paradigm shift" requires the ability to think outside the box and is often met with hostility by the current field as it renders much of their work irrelevant. Much easier to just exaggerate.

The whole describing it as steps someone would take confuse the hell out of me, I think I get it now it's just on the color scale right, like how different the colors are

Thank you for sharing this interesting article. The study you mentioned concerns the development of a new mathematical model for color vision that corrects an error in the previous model developed by Schrödinger and others. The new model is based on quantum mechanics and provides a more accurate description of how the human eye and brain perceive colors. The study has important implications for the fields of vision science, color perception, and computer graphics. By providing a more accurate and comprehensive model of color vision, the researchers hope to improve our understanding of how the human visual system works and to develop new technologies that can better replicate the way we see colors. It is important to note, however, that the new model does not fundamentally challenge the principles of quantum mechanics or the existing models of quantum computing. Rather, it represents an important refinement and improvement of our understanding of color vision.

Couldn't the result be also explained by the notion that... people are bad at linearizing their perceptions?

That doesn't really seem that conclusive to me. It's a start towards something, but correlation is not science.

So, even if you identify as a cat or dog... you still perceive color this way? Man, seems like MANY paradigms were broken by this WOMAN and her team.

I feel like it is so unfair and if they don’t help people who truly need it, why are they even open?? If you went to the emergency without any appointment or anything wouldn’t the hospital HAVE to admit you? I’m sorry we are not there because we love you and maybe part of God’s plan is that you are the Angel sent to these awful doctors to get them to remember what they promised to do, to help those who need it. I am surrounding you with love and that will never stop no matter if you are strong or feel like giving up or desperate. You are loved and you are deserving of help. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
