Part of the reason why he move to Chicago is probably is the gangsters and mobsters. Compared to other "quiet" towns and cities, Chicago is the only place that his former boss won't dare to search as doing so would be seen by the other gangs as interference and an attempt to expand into their turf.

Back when tattoos were reserved for criminals and scoundrels. Now your average hipster is tatted from head to toe.
@smellskindabaka1651 Жыл бұрын
@@jamesalvarado3961 well, it wasn't really reserved for criminals or scoundrels, tattoos originated in hunter/gatherer tribes and ancient communities either making their self for religious/spiritual reasons or ceremonies. Now as time went on and people started to advance we learned different ways of showing status. That eventually turned into "criminals" either marking their past or their gang affiliation because they are locked in a box with other people that don't care for societal norms so it gets dangerous, so people started getting ink to show who they are and make other inmates scared, especially in Russian prisons where ink shows people that you are not the one to be fucked with, this is where prison ink gained it popularity and westers prisons started to adopt the idea but didn't have the past or respect to get those tattoos so everyone started getting them assuming that it makes them hard or will make others fear them when they have no business wearing it. It's almost like a uniform, not even one should be wearing it, only those in said company. You're not gonna go to Walmart and wear a blue vest and expect people not to ask you for help. this eventually turned into every tom, dick and Harry getting inked with symbology they have no idea of the meaning, like English people getting kung pow chicken tattooed in Japanese characters thinking it means something profound lol
@jamesalvarado3961 Жыл бұрын
@@smellskindabaka1651 dude you didn’t have to write an entire essay. This took place in the 20th century, so that’s how I took the tattoos into the context. Yeah, tattoos started with tribes. But in all of western society criminals, pirates and slaves were the only ones tatted down. All the way to up until the 90s and 2000s did you start to see respected people in society like a Dr or lawyer have tattoos. So yeah 1950s Chicago if you saw someone with tats he was trouble.

@shahul8222 Жыл бұрын
What's superfluous?
@mumblesbadly7708 Жыл бұрын
@@shahul8222 It means “not needed”. The suffix “-est” itself means “the most” of the adverb it is attached to. Saying “most deadlient” is equivalent to saying “most most deadly”. As such, preceding “deadliest” with “most” is unnecessary to convey the extreme characteristic of “deadly”, hence it is superfluous.
