Curt Meine is a conservation biologist, environmental historian, and writer. He is the author of Aldo Leopold: His Life and Work, the first biography of Leopold, which received a number of awards and was reissued in 2010 after its original publication in 1988. He serves as Senior Fellow with the Aldo Leopold Foundation in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Roberta L. Millstein is an Emerit Professor in the Department of Philosophy at UC Davis. Her research focuses on the philosophy of science, the history & philosophy of biology, and environmental ethics. Her book, The Land Is Our Community: Aldo Leopold's Environmental Ethic for the New Millennium, was published in 2024.
Buddy Huffaker is the executive director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation. His academic background is in landscape architecture and plant ecology, and he has helped grow the Foundation’s reach and impact for the last twenty-five years.
