Great tempo and interpretation. So many play this far too fast and without. It is lovely to hear it given such a nice treatment.

it is often done much to fast to adapt to recent timing... In some cases we have accounts about performance duration, and they are much longer as of today. And in the end how do you all those virtuoso adorations not in the score in such a short time...

La gente, generalmente, le resta a las mujeres la posibilidad de ciertas funciones. Es algo entendible, cuando la mujeres suelen tener menos lògica que los hombres. Pero lo suplen muy bien, con lo que las ha dotado la naturaleza; la intuiciòn; el reconcentrarse en sus sentimientos y sensaciones; la finura de matices de sus ojos, mucho mas detallistas que los de los hombres, y los vericuetos de su mente, muy, muy desarrollada. En este caso, y por los años que tengo dedicados a la mùsica, le ha dado como nadie, el tiempo justo y medido de las marchas militares de la època de Häendel, a esta versiòn de Escipiòn, que ha dirigido maravillosamente bien. El hecho que estè encasillada como Slow March, no siempre es interpretada como tal por los directores de bandas militares, donde el tiempo de los desfiles, es un real tirano. ¡Y ES UNA MUJER! (¿O es por eso?).

Yes, it seems a bit slow considering how it is interpreted now, but in Handel's time, armies marched very slowly. This march runs a lot at weddings so I think it should be slow.
