Everybody's got something They had to leave behind One regret from yesterday That just seems to grow with time There's no use looking back, or wondering How it could be now or might've been All this I know But still I can't find ways to let you go I never had a dream come true 'Til the day that I found you Even though I pretend that I've moved on You'll always be my baby I never found the words to say You're the one I think about each day And I know no matter where life takes me to A part of me will always be with you Somewhere in my memory I've lost all sense of time And tomorrow can never be 'Cause yesterday is all that fills my mind There's no use looking back, oh wondering How it should been, now oh might've been All this I know But, still I can't find ways to let you go I never had a dream come true 'Til the day that I found you Even though I pretend that I've moved on You'll always be my baby I never found the words to say You're the one I think about each day And I know no matter where life takes me to A part of me will always be with you You'll always be the dream that fills my head Yes you will Say you will You know you will oh baby You'll always be the one I know I'll never forget There's no use looking back, oh wondering Because love is a strange and funny thing No matter how hard I try and try I just can't say good bye No no no no I never had a dream come true 'Til the day that I found you Even though I pretend that I've moved on You'll always be my baby I never found the words to say You're the one I think about each day And I know no matter where life takes me to A part of me will always be with you

"everybody's got something they have to leave behind One regret from yesterday that just seems to grow with time" How true and meaningful the above statement is. There are just something in our lives that we have to let go, it's not that we want to , it's because that we have to in order to move on with our lives. We can keep telling ourselves that we let go of our past, but deep down , there's always a tiny part of ourselves who kept clinging onto the past. That's because we're human, we have baggage and attachments.

it's 3rd february 2021, mid-pandemic, on the verge of adulthood. As an early 00s baby, I grew up on a lot of S Club 7 at home and I just love how refreshing their songs are. This particular song resonates a lot with my childhood and it reminds of how great life was as a kid, when songs were the soundtrack to a certain stage in your life, when music was about unconditional, real love, about fun and real partying. I remember watching the Aladdin Pantomime and watching them perform this song and just being in awe at how beautiful and talented and humble they are. I had to come back all these years later, to place the same beauty I admired about this group back then, to my very hectic and exhausting locked down life now, and it just slowed the turbulence so much, calmed me, reminded me of the young girl sitting in front of the TV dazzled by S Club 7, looking out windows in the backseat of my grandad's car whilst they were on the radio. All these old songs, this nostalgia, it's so painful, but so beautiful, and I'm glad I can come back to these days through music, to transform reality.

Christmas songs have to have a level of cheesyness... it's the emotive time that Christmas IS.. especially for anyone who's lost someone...and for me, Christmas will be forever tarnished by the tragic news, four years ago, when the beautiful, sweet man that was George, died. RIP George...you are missed every day, not just Christmas day.

I was just 10 back then. Now, I'm 25 and this song brings back my fading memories. My early teenage years filled with joy and freedom; no bills, no responsibilities.

Dedicated to my best friend who died 2 months ago. It was sudden news for me. Nobody knew how she carried that weight on her shoulders. She left her loving husband and kids and family and us who think of her. This song, when we were graders, loved to harmonize it - be it on our school coach's room rooftop at school, or at that semi-forest near her village. This song brings so much memories. I never thought that this song could bring me so much grief. Im so sorry baby. You will always be in my prayers.. 😭😭😭💔💔💔 Nov 14, 2020

I used to listen to their songs with my children in the early 2000s. Raising them, life was tough back then, but we survive. Now they’re grown up I sometimes come back to listen again and reminiscing. Their songs gave us some much needed entertainment at that time 🥰.
