Scolding a Hospital Indemnity Plan Caller Who Acts Surprised at the Very Idea of a Scam

I receive scam phone calls every day. While my improv skills are weak, I try to waste their time anyway.
Hospital indemnity insurance is a real thing. But strangers from another country won't call you and try to sell it to you like this.
Was I too mean? I was having a bad day anyway, and maybe I used this guy's call to blow off a little steam.

someone just tried to scam me with a text, claiming that i should pay some taxes on a package from somewhere and it?s nit drom the danish tax authorities. Geez. These scammer freaks are getting more desperate and greedy every day.

Hang up phone and block phone number. Every time! I rarely get scam calls anymore.
