Thank you for making this video. This information is very helpful. However I did try to take my pro scooter on my recent plane trip flying from DFW to Hartford Connecticut this summer using the information from this video but unfortunately, the bad news is that it didn't work out because when my mom and I were checking our bags we asked one of the employees if security was ok with me bringing my scooter. Unfortunately, they said no and said they might take it from us. However, the good news is that I did not actually lose because we called a friend of ours who took us to the airport to come get it and then take it back home. After that, our friend got it and then took it home.

Some people would just say, yeah, bring the scooter, then immediately get walked all over on for having a scooter in the airport. You speaking out about your person experience and your advice is great help for people who like to be prepared as much as they can be before doing things like bringing a scooter to the airport.

Now my electrical scooter weighs probably almost 45 lb. So its heavy. Can fold but if you fold it down you can't roll it. Will this still work?

The Segway kickscooter ES3 comes with an external battery. The total output is 384W. The basic built-in battery is 187W, so the external is about 200W. If we remove the external battery, is the ES3 scooter acceptable for air travel?

It depends on where you are sitting on the plane. If you're in the middle or towards the back, it should be waiting for you by the time you get off, if you're in first class and you exit, it may take a few minutes for them to bring it up to you.

Honestly, I don't know that one. You may just need to check it regularly before you go through security. If you're not sure, just contact your airline and see what they say.

Your skateboard is small enough to carry on the plane. You wouldn't need to worry about this whole process. I've taken skateboards on the plane with me multiple times.
