I just replaced my carb now my scooter won’t take gas it was before I replaced the carb. The one I have now is brand new what do I need to adjust to make it suck in gas

Open. Up the top of the carb and drop just a little gas inside with Syringe.

Is gas soppoused to come through the vacuum line on that fuel pump..mine is pulling gas through the vacuum line... does that mean the pump is bad..

No gas thru vacuum line. It means your gas valve diaphragm is probably bad. You

@@nathanwright87 I had the same prob w/ my NEW scooter. The gas line wasn't connected properly. Got on KZbin VERBERELLO, and replaced my entire gas line w/ 3/16" INSIDE DIAMETER 5/16" OUTSIDE DIAMETER irrigation line -CLEAR - that I got at Lowe's for $5 for 5 feet, per my instructor.

Hi, I was about to put new pipes in after a vandal attack pulled all fuels and vacuum pipes but I find 4 outlets on my fuel tap/ pump and while petrol in and out are marked the other 2 aren’t and I hoped you might help please

Can you show me exactly where the vacuum hose connects to

The vacuum hose connects from the GAS PUMP to the BIG BLACK HOSE connected to the FRONT of the carb on the LEFT SIDE facing front. There's a nipple on which to place the hoseline. Pull it off and look - you won't break anything. When you replace it, place one end on at a time to follow the line. That's what I did and how I learned. I have a 50cc Chinese scooter.

Thats not a pump, its a valve. Get rid of it and replace it with a fuel cutoff switch.

Thats the most ignored piece .....in trouble shooting Carb problems ...I think this piece is the reason for my scooter to Bogg down when I accelerate,...That Valve (Or petcock )

That is not a fuel pump it is a vacuum operated fuel tap
