Always is a strong word. In my specific instance the gentlemen asked me about fault. I didn't get the impression that i was automatically assumed to be at fault because i was white. I would definitely say that there is a higher chance that you will be "assumed" to be at fault by someone that didn't witness the incident arriving to the scene. A GoPro is a good addition to any vehicle that you are driving. I can capture hours of footage by mounting one and it takes away any question of who may or may not be at fault. That's a good tip if you're traveling in a foreign county. Video evidence is king. There is a bit of truth in this comment though.

@ Sound advice sir but when I lived in Nakon Si Thammarat in the android age no cameras.Drove all over the country and sometimes stopped by police. I never argued if told some law had been broken but made a contribution in the knowledge their pay was terrible.Always settle things amicably at the roadside.Stay safe.
