Man I cannot wait to see the video on that boat for the bow mount edge trolling motor, that is what I got last Christmas from my father-in-law. I love it but I don’t have a recess tray. I’m 64 so my leg is all up in there. This would be so cool. I Love the idea of making videos and going over several comments that have been sent in Glad to have you back

It's a cool little gizmo. I'm still learning all the features but just having a remote to steer the trolling motor is worth every penny to me.

mud motor question, probably figure this out myself, but the question, how would you mount a longtail on a canoe? mine is a 17ft canoe, not a square back. Just wondering how you might mount the motor.

You would have to build some kind of transom for a mud motor to clamp onto. Honestly I'd sell the canoe and get a flat back. Much easier than trying to mod one to make a mud motor fit.

Yeah that will be happening at some point. I took gave the motor a good once over and it had a lot of rust and drud in the heads... so now I got to tear down the whole motor. yay.
