Hi, this is a pretty sick content, thanks for you contibution :) Quick question though, I had the same update on my G2 last night as you have @28:00 (also purchased the licence through your link with the code - awsome!), went through with all 3 steps and finished with "scooter updated" and now I can set pretty much all parameters in xiaodash, HOWEVER I did NOT took apart my scooter, hence I could NOT ST-Linked it either, all I've done was over BT. Is it then a "light" hack I have on scooter? I could not have time to ride it that much yet but it definetely goes faster 22mph but nowhere near 30 mph (45kmph) Many thanks and once again pretty good content!

@@thegabormate check the esc firmware version under basic (info) in xiaodash. You have to st-link it to install xiaodash. There is no other way

Can you explain to me your installation for connecting the st link to the controller? You have connected two cables and glued two manually, I have 4 female connectors on my st link.

how risky is this? since i have a g2 max and i want it to go 35km/h instead of 25 but i just wanted to know if i can reverse it or if the damages would be minimal

Hello, thank you for your video. I have a question. I made all the settings in xiaodash like yours I have a NinebotG2 D max yesterday night I was driving and suddenly the numbers on my dashboard turns red for about five minutes after that they turned white again. What does this mean? Is it dangerous for my engine or something?

@@misterel7684 maybe it is because of the motor temp. I lowered it in the video and maybe you reached the temp. Try increasing it to the stock values and see what happens. You can also ask on the xiaodash telegram channel. They can tell you for sure

Hi i st - link flashed my f2 pro with Re Flasher and then flashed the BLE from a G2 on my scooter and then installed the SHFW. Whats like the fastest i should go without frying my cables and controller? the scooter is from 2023.

Dose it also work with the controller fron the ninebot max g2 für Germany. Because app says yes but i dont want to buy the cables and everything and then it doesn't work

Hello, yes it works for all G2 models. The controllers are identical only the serial number is different and that makes it run slower. You can also use the scooterhacking reflasher to downgrade yuur controller and change the serial number to the global version. Once you downgrade the controller, you are able to flash scooterhacking utility via bluetooth. The scooterhacking software will be available soon and it is free. Xiaodash is already available, but you have to pay for it.

@@BerlinCity23 for downgrading you need the windows program called reflasher. I used an older version in one of the scooterhacking for noobies videos. It is similar to the g30 controllers. You just need to connect the wires like i did in the xiaodash video. As far as i know there is currently no hacked fw for the G65.. maybe in a few months. Just visit the xiaodash or scooterhacking.org telegram/webpages from time to time to check if a hack is available.

@@ivanbilandzic6571 yes, i also flashed the replacement controller wlth xiaodash and it worked. Just need to connect it first to the scooter, to get the Scooter ID and activate it.

How do you think, if I ride my G2 an 35kmh daily, it will be fine?

Probably Yes.. maybe the ball bearings will need to be replaced a bit earlier. They are not the best ones. Just don't park it in the sun (keep it cool), always check the tire pressure, make sure every bolt it tight and keep it dry and clean, charge it to 100% and let the BMS balance the batteries before the ride. Make sure to keep the charge at 50~70% when not in use (over winter). Often the users are the ones who destroy the devices because they do not know how to use them and then they blame the manufacturer. (Driving a car at 50km/h at 4th gear uphill with 1000RPM and trying to accelerate without shifting down = Bye Bye Motor) i don't know your weight, weather, terrain, driving style so i can not say if it is going to be fine or not. For a lot of people it is.

Installing xiaodash works 100% also on the EU and DE edition. As far as i know EU models can also reach this speeds (so far) The only think that could be different is that at some point Segway limits the max BMS current of some or all models to 25A or sth like that. Thats my experience with the G30s produced after 06.2023. If the BMS is limited to 25A then the topspeed is lower for sure (~38km/h) I only flashed the Global edition as you saw in the video. I will probably flash a EU Edition thats produced in mid 2023 soon and can report back. Best option is to get it asap and you can also ask on the xiaodash telegram channel.
