i mean, it's a part of the lore. if gumball cares about sbd, show gives the characters much time in episodes, if gumball forget about sbd, show kicks characters in the void, like rob. and gumball will never see the consequences of his actions and crimes, cuz the whole show is sitcom about only gumball in the first place and it won't allow anything to stop it, until show will see its end. i mean it's whole new level of meta and i love this lore so much
