I got a lucky 100-drop and unlocked Sentinel. I have like 14 Nimrod shards. I’ve basically resigned myself to the fact that Orchis for me is just going to be a 3-character team like Cabal. Averaging 1 shard a day for a 100-shard character means it’s going to be 3 months before the character gets unlocked. Fucking ridiculous. People are getting pushed past the point of anger and becoming apathetic, which is even worse for the company.

For 100 shards at 1 shard a day it would be three 31 day long months in a row plus one week to get 100 shards.

I'm thinking if we don't build Omega Sentinel they will replace Spider Society in Spotlight Raid with Alpha Flight and make the Alpha Flight nodes Orchis nodes so we can't get away with the 4 person team

I’m a very engaged player, and I have yet to get a single shard from the “Nimrod orb”. All my shards are through the 2 core orbs I regret buying and from the milestone that gives his shards. That’s crazy

Totally agree with you on the abysmal drop rates that we are seeing the orbs lately. I for one am coring for Nimrod as I think he brings value to the orcihis team, but I don't have enough cores to do him and omega too, so I'll probably end up not having her on the team for awhile yet. I will be using fishbowl on this team instead till I have her at a later stage though as he seem to work rather well with them. Thank you for your content and keep up the good work mate. I'm the highest level player (97) in my alliance by quite a margin, so we're still on Doom raids. I'm not in any rush to get them. We'll do what we can in Battle World, but we don't care if we aren't first or getting the maximum rewards. I'm enjoying my time in the game taking on the various challenges like DD, Apoc (which I just finished), and CC, for which I don't need them.

The only way to win against this predatory monetization is to not play. Let the game fail and hope someone else buys them up and changes things. Scopely doesn't care what ANYONE says - only the money. Take away their money or nothing changes. If you are buying ANYTHING, you are supporting these actions directly and telling them that it's ok.

What's crazy is characters used to come out FASTER than you got resources to build them but now I m sitting on 200mil gold and that's with no gold orbs opened so I have 90 gold ord and 6 mega gold orbs ...technically last character I build was Sentinel and A) the resources to G18, all T4 (I have over 6K)was a drop in bucket and made no impact. B) technically they released that early, we'd still be waiting and they only did that to appease people/ give people a taste so maybe get more interest in Orchis. But yeah people are probable just unlocking Gorr and Thanos is a ways away(?). Meanwhile it's "hey folks it's Blade". I feel like a lot of people are burnt out and what a mystery amount of time to not build characters is kind of part if that. Like to spend gold I ...brought New Warriors to G100...the Horsemen teams. I guess you can say Orchis3.... crimson gear...so it's not like I m not spending gold. But yeah it's just waiting ...and waiting ... and being told nothing because it's a FOMO game and they want to break my resolve(?). Fun(?).

So first, I agree they lied. I also completed all of Omega Assault and didn't receive any Sentinel Transcendence Orbs. I did see an offer ($4.99 Sentinel Transcendence Thank You) last night and I didn't even get the first milestone and ended up with 3 shards.

I’m at 14 nimrod shards thanks to this bull release method but if there was a thanos even this week or last I would have gotten all my annihilators at 5 star before the showcases ended because I cored them. They saw the data for annihilators and thought they needed to reduce availability for orchis only people blew up their cores already and a lot are saving for blade

i have been playing this game since a couple months after it released and i have been a moderate spender for the last year or so but all of this crap that has gone down in the last couple of months has really made me sick. i usually buy all of the battle passes and strike passes every month and will buy around 50 bucks worth of offers throughout the month when i find the offers to be worthwhile but the new release methods are just awful and just makes me want to quit playing.

MAn, on the Omera Assult, the Cabal nodes scuk ass. not able to clear them wiith a G18 team, with G19 1D Namor, all t4s, blue iso 5. Upgraded Underworld for the sac, they didnt even survived long enough for them to survive for Nova's ultimate.

Has to be some combination that includes Apocalypse as it was designed for this. Back previously it was for Nemesis and Archangel. You can however do it with Daken now as well.

i discovered my player agency, have been a battle pass buyer and a few offers over the past year, and uninstalled. scopely has made it impossible to keep up with new toons and completing dd8 without spending $$$s. so my salute to scopely - quit game.

Global Mystic is basically designed for MLF/Agatha, you can use Ares or BP Shuri if thats an option for you though.

See i have been using Old Wolv, Gladiator, Ultimus, Black Knight and Apoc and have respectfully been above 100 rank in Arena F2P. I did unlock Endgame Thanos but at only 3 stars. Should I build him or wait for this new Blade team? Can a 3 red star thanos be ok in Arena ?

Depends what kind of raids you are doing. Nightstalkers is the premier mystic raid team but if you don't need it.... Thanos is a must build though imo for sure 3Y is fine.

at this point, I've stopped caring and just wait, soon everybody will stop caring and then we'll see whatever the so called "data" scopely has that they said these release methods increase "player engagement" and we'll see how accurate those data are. This is what will happen, in six months they will lose a significant portion of their player base, you know the casual people will lose interest because its so stale and also so complicated with all the events and milestone and so hard to progress on these. So then scopely might decide to change course, just give it a little time.

You might come to know ( if you browse the other communities) that the people who care the most about the game are the ones who are critical about it. @Boilon either the strike or battle pass or an event booster. I also get us my cores to get one character orb a day. My annihilators are all 5YR GT19. The quality and support for this game require revenue to maintain so I'll spend a reasonable amount. 20 a month is nothing. If more people did they wouldn't be so reliant on milking the whales. Or maybe they would...shit if someone was willing to pay thousands a month on a game I created I would do what they said too lol

Ares Operation Omega - Earn Revolution Orbs from Omega Assault + battle in Raids with Orchis characters

Also, to your point of slow rolling. Two Dark Dimensions have been released within a year. What is the reason for slow rolling and gating crimson materials and purple ISO? Only the big spenders can compete in those game modes. Is it really money? Scopely is souring the players that keep them employed.

I mean yes it is about the money. But, it may be having the opposite effect to the wider player base. The question is, will the short term profit gains from the existing krakens outweigh the damage to the larger player base.
