Those bastages stole my Kraven orbs too. After five attempts of contacting them to get them back, they finally told me, "we confirmed you had them in your account, but we aren't giving them back. Just keep checking the store and your inbox and maybe someday they'll come back." Total rip. Total trash. Terrible customer service and shady business practice. This video is on point with its message, and it's not a surprise. They will always cater to the whales and krakens. In a way, I'm OK with that, because those guys subsidize the game for the rest of us, but on the other, it does feel bad. There are basically two tiers of competition: spenders in tier 1, rest of us tier 2.

Sonic Judgement broke me. I spent over a month saving energy (almost 30k) and went from top 500 the entire event to getting kicked out off top 1000 literally over night There's no competing with whales. It's a joke

I think you're being a little bit alarmist with this take. True, they didn't extend the crucible season when 95 was released, but that is a minor thing. When 95 was released, the same people got advantages. To be honest, this is a non-subject, imo. Taking out the crucible stuff, what we are seeing is the natural progression of the game. That's all. Scopely will make money off of this. They're a business. That's just how it is. No real need for outrage.

Dude stop whining. That’s how this always goes, when something new comes in, the big spenders have a huge advantage, then normies like us catch up, rinse and repeat. That’s the business model. The more you pay, the less patience you need and the less you need to grind it out. Do you want Scopely to not give ANY advantage to ppl who are shelling out thousands and tens of thousands of dollars per month?? That’s just stupid.

No one said any different, we are talking about 2 different things, whales having an advantage is obvious but extending events/seasons of competitions beyond what was set before is not the same thing
