It shouldn’t be aloud to ride that fast and talking so calmly ❤

How do you compare this to the trail 429 that you reviewed couple months ago.
@moynge3 ай бұрын
Stack height is actually more generous on the SCOR, which is (one reason) why I'm looking at this bike ... perhaps it's the extended reach that made it feel lower 'cause it stretches you out more so.

Looks like a fun bike. How was it to get up on the back wheel for manual and bunnyhop? What camera are you using?
@SpencerAstraPOV Жыл бұрын
It was a shorter chainstay. It was fairly easy to get the bike into a manual. It would have been easier if I would have sized down. The reach in this size was a little long for my taste. Shot with the Hero 7 and Karma gimbal!
@fischermtb Жыл бұрын
Yes checked the geo after I wrote and found out that it has really short chainstays. I can imagine that it feels a bit long with that size and that long reach etc. Super nice feel in your videos. So the stabilization comes from the gimbal and not the camera? Is that why you can use that long shutter time and still get good stabilization?

It's a quite bike 🙂

Seems pretty similar to the regular Stumpy

Ya'll have the reach wrong in the description of this video and in the article.

497 mm is huge for a Large size, how tall are you?
@Hardcaslte7 ай бұрын
I need to ride one of these one day because the reach makes no sense to me. This is a large with 497 reach, my YT Izzo XL frame is 480 and feels big enough for me at 6'3".

Do you find the Trail 429 Enduro more capable and efficient?
@SpencerAstraPOV Жыл бұрын
I think the conditions were a bit wetter with he Scor. Outside of that I'd say both bikes felt as efficient as one another climbing. The Scor had a way longer reach and therefore the 429 did feel a bit more agile.

@@SpencerAstraPOV any other thoughts on descending differences, or were they pretty similar suspension wise?

Every time a reviewer rides a shorter wheelbase and conservative HTA angle, they have FUN. Mtb has gone to a big balls bro culture. I admire those guys, and hate those guys. My 67 HTA on my 2013 Stumpy is plenty stable and nimble, poppy, and great at trials-oriented trail, where I live. Big LLS bikes are not what most need. This channel has good riding but licks the balls of the bike industry. Once, say a bike sucks.

i agree, but on the other hand, all bikes are pretty good these days..

@@Mental707 Bike prices to support all the crazy R&D is out of control. More people are racing and going to parks, but most are still rec riders riding greens and blues. I like to ride what is proven and reliable. Been burned before a few times on proprietary stuff that was the next big thing. More $, more problems.
