tip for stripped screws like that how to get them out every time without fuss. Grab a elastic band. put the band over the screw and shove the screw driver into it and unscrew the screw. The elastic will fill the screw and get it out

I have had the same problem. I carefuly drilled the screw out until I could use a small screw driver to remove the messed up screw. You do have to watchout that the plastic does not heat up or melt. I did this without damaging the model. Btw with a small size drill you can manually make the cargoholders on the wings a bit larger, which will prevent them from breakling of., takes 2 minites tops. Do not forget to put some wd40 on the replacementscrews. I noticed that i was going to have problems; so i asked Kitz Concept send me a replacement part. My toy had back part which was damaged . Kitz concept was very helpfull and sent me the replacemen,t and some extra screws :-)

With regards to the small hands exchange them, Maybe you can exchange them with the vf 1s Folker special white ones for improved visibillity. Or msg Kitz Concept and ask them wehther they can send you some small white articulated hands.

Apart from the elastic band trick for stripped screws you could try a 'star' shaped screw driver or a torx one. Either way try to get a replacement screw to put in there so you don't have to go through this more than once…

Strange that this is supposed to be the VF1S, but it completely lacks the Super Booster for Strike Valkyrie mode. Looks pretty odd without it.

It is the VF-1S the S in this instance isn’t referring to “Strike” its referring to the variant of VF-1 it is; it becomes a “Strike Valkyrie” when the Fast Pack armor attachment is put on there. But that armor can be used on all the VF-1 variants. Clear up the confusion?

it could use specific super and or strike parts. Can you actually consider this version to be a stealth version or are the markings too visible?

My only issue with these 1/72 scale models is the landing gears and how the gun pod sits all the way to the floor.... I kept my figure in batroid mode.

Did that screw come pre stripped or did you do it with a Philips Screwdriver? I'm wondering if you know about the wonders of JIS screwdrivers. There is a subtle difference between what we in North America call Philips and what the Japanese Call JIS. You can get JIS screwdrivers from Vessel: www.vessel.co.jp/english/product/screwdriver/detail/125706 We use these on antique motorcycles to avoid damaging the Carburetors.

Just got mine in the mail and I just barely got my Skull 1 Fokker last week from robotech.com. I got 644/660. Do you think the exclusive is a new mold, improved mold or a repaint?

The thrusters don't close properly in fighter mode making them look like they are still open somewhat. Totally ruins the look in that mode. Would get it just for Battloid but not for the asking price.

It doesn't feel like a major concern, it's cast of black plastic and the detail work seems quality.

I hate the gun pod on this toy, it’s too fat. The wheels should be longer so the plane mode doesn’t sit on the gun pod.
