Here's another tip on the combo: 1. Drop ALL Scorchers & Dr. Kavan before Laser Rangers-a few seconds ahead. 2. Use Dr Kavan's ability at the beginning before losing any troops so that the faux Riflemen will take out the mines. Make sure he lands in the middle.

Also to answer your question, instant training isn’t needed for the game, it helps but isn’t required. I have never bought instant training a single time and I’m way past your current rank.

For your next strategy, try out the most used leaderboard strategy. Smokey laser rangers, also known as “AL” With enough skill, you can beat just about any base thrown at you, including ice bases. I can join your task force if you want me to teach you the strategy if you’d like.

Try to take down bases with Pvt Bullit alone. I do that all the time. Poor base design is all over the place in this game.
