NAH, not everyone in the comments saying their rank and they could do better mechanics than the ones shown and performed. You don't neccisarly need to have good mechs to be in a decentally high rank. I know someone who is champ 2 and they suck booty at air dribbles and such. Also, if you're so great at doing mechs that are "above your rank" or something, then why arent you in that rank that fits it? Game sense matters a lot, and defense in my opinion, you don't need to be all flashy to be in a decent rank. Instead of working on flashy things that you shouldn't be practicing in Gold, try to get a teammate and practice rotations, communication, defense, and perhaps try to learn some game sense. and where the best position is to be. Those should carry you a long way. Also I just wanna note, everyone saying that I'm boosted, I got my diamond spot fair and square, took me around a year or two, but we got there. -The humble Diamond

@@corruptedkI’m a c2 and I’m happy to have other non mechanical players representing higher ranks. I personally can’t even air dribble, still got c2 consistently, and still peaked at 1387. You just need to be smart. If you look at d3, you’ll see a bunch of people going for aerials, go to c2 and, unless they are freestylers, they are going for near no aerials other than saves and single hits.
