It’s always a thing of joy for me when you react to songs I’ve always wanted you to react to. Fun fact: I made sure not to see your scorecard before telling you my ratings on this song... 💯% for me. Love this song to the extent that I did a TikTok video for Tomi’s hook because it’s hands down the best chorus I’ve heard from any artiste this year. (I think imma upload that video on my KZbin page). It pained me that you missed the part that got me the most in this song and that’s Jesse’s line: Ni**a in the gutter, there’s an elegant rose. This is because you were so into the music theory of the song and that’s understandable for this song is amazing. Another FUN FACT: I bet you didn’t realize that the first hook (verse 1) was different from the second hook (verse 2) and the same with the third. That sh*t blew my mind yo! Now, to answer your question. Tomi isn’t a once in a blue moon artiste. He has always been there since the early 2010s. Didn’t hear much of him after their group (L.O.S) broke up. He’s just a diamond in the rough, that ain’t been found. Well, up until AQ featured him in Zodiac Killer. He literally murdered the song. Although, this is because of our newly found love for alternative sounds in Nigeria. He dropped a new EP (Hopeless Romantic) and boy o’ boy did he kill it. I’m running out of words to praise his genius artistry. The song Hurricane with Buju Banton is one of the songs I’m most proud of from a Nigerian artiste because he was able to hold up his end against the Legendary Buju Banton. I don’t think a lot of people understand what that means mehn!!! Great Reaction as always and don’t forget to react to AQ ft Tomi Thomas - Zodiac Killer.
